Men’s Underwear – Designer Brands

Underwear Men:

Men don’t give much importance to the way they dress. They try to follow one principle, “the simpler, the better”. But all the simplicity fades away when it comes to choosing the type of underwear they buy. Generally men dress up in three different ways: the decent business, the simple everyday conservative and a rugged way.

Underwear Men

No matter the way he tries to dress up, the only way to find about his inner self is the type of undergarments he wears. While dressing up it is important that they give importance to the different underwear trends and styles.

In the past, most men preferred wearing basic colors like white, black and gray. They were not ready to experiment. But today’s men don’t mind experimenting with new colors. They are ready to wear dark colors like pink, teal, yellow, orange, red and green etc.

You can get a full spectrum of colors and prints, from sporty blue-green camouflage to preppy red and white plaids in most of the designer brands like Jockey, Hanes, Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss to fashion driven brands like C-IN2, Papi and 2(x)ist.

Many of the designer brands like Emporio Armani, D&G, Diesel, Ted Baker, Hugo Boss etc first started selling Men’s suit and then went on to sell mens underwear. Calvin Klein offers various styles of mens underwear; briefs, trunks, boxer briefs and boxer shorts. Then came in other brands like Emporio Armani, who has strong branded waistband, their eagle logo is extremely bold and identifiable. Diesel is considered a street brand and has an exciting range of briefs and trunks. A large part of Calvin Kleins underwear has prints like stripes, florals, logos, abstract and retro patterns.

You can find various brands of underwear in the market. One popular brand is Hugo Boss. Hugo boss designs a complete range of men’s business wear line. This label has been divided into four different lines like Boss Black, Boss Orange, Boss Green and Boss Selection. Men’s Underwear is featured in Boss Black and Orange collections. Hugo boss is considered masters in styling men’s underwear, whether it is tanga briefs, boxer briefs or t-shirts.

Remember certain things before buying Men’s underwear. Find out what type of underwear does he prefer? If you notice most of the men prefer only one type, boxers or boxer briefs. Boxers are looser and more comfortable. Briefs and Boxer briefs are popular among athletic men. Find out your man’s waistline before shopping for him. Usual underwear sizes start off small with waistline measurements between 28 to 30 inches. Medium waistline sizes are generally 32 to 34 inches and large size can be 36 to 38 inches. Size varies from brand to brand, so it is advisable to buy based on both waistline measurement.

“Two thousand dollars for one suit?! Are you crazy? I don’t have

that kind of coin to spend on one suit! Yes I am well aware of

the quality and that it is well worth every penny. I just can’t

justify spending that kind of money on one garment. Oh but I

sure would love to have an Armani.”

Rest assured if you hear yourself in the above comments, you’re

not alone. Countless businessmen would love to have fancy

designer suits but their budget doesn’t allow for it; champagne

Definitions on what makes a men’s suit categorized as “Designer”

may vary. One eBay seller’s definition is “any brand of

pre-owned suit that has sold on online auctions for 0 or

more.” She continues, “See for yourself. Do a search on

completed auctions–MEN’S SUITS, sort High to Low in price and see

what brands repeatedly come up.”

Here are some of the brand names classified as “designer”:

Acquaviva, Barberini, Baroni,Belvedere, Brioni, Canali, Charvet,

David Eden, Dolce & Gabbana, Enrico Venturi, Ermenegildo Zegna,

Fendi, Gene Meyer, Gianni Manzoni, Gionfriddo, Giorgio Armani,

Gucci, Hugo Boss, Leonardo Valenti, Luciano Carreli, Natazzi,

Nino Bertini, Otello, Prada, Rossetti, Trussardi, and Versace.

Where ar you going to find these suits? If you want to pay under

, you’re going to start hunting all the thrift/second hand

stores. Yes you will indeed find them there, but you need to

search. If you don’t mind paying a little more, just go directly

to eBay. They are out there.

If you opt to hunt for your own, here are a few simply tips for

thrift store hunting. Don’t expect these wonderfully made

designer suits to jump out at you. And don’t expect to find a

boatload of them all in one place. It is truly a matter of

treasure hunting.

Thrift stores, estate sales, storage unit auctions and garage

sales will be your best hunting ground. Not to discourage you,

but it won’t be uncommon for you to look through 100+ suits until

you power find one “good” one. The good news is that after you

have a little experience under your belt, you will be able to

whip through an entire rack of suits in mere minutes and tell

just by look and feel which ones are even worthy of looking

inside for the labels. Take your list with you and become

familiar at which brands you’ll pause and take a second glace.

You may need to have a circuit of approximately 10-12 second hard

stores that you frequent hoping to hit the mother load. You

you’re intrigued in the quest, shop a minimal of once a week at

each locale! Your efforts will pay off. But as mentioned above,

if this is more work that you care to spend on finding a suit,

you know the way to eBay.

Enjoy your new dashing designer suit!

Is your man one of today’s increasing number of modish men who are placing a greater emphasis on their underwear draw, demanding a greater choice of styles and fabrics and designer brand names. Well, don’t be surprised because men of all ages are becoming more fickle when it comes to what they were under their pants and are keen to ensure they are sporting the latest trends.

Mens Underwear

Men are now more discerning than ever when it comes to their underwear and the days when they would leave it to their mum or wife to buy their pants ar slowly disappearing. They are now taking charge of buying their underwear and know exactly what they want.

Whether you are man who prefers the chic stylish clean cut designer brief, sleek avant garde fitted trunk or sporty athletic support thong for an active life, there is a lot to choose from.

This year sees strong colours and retro styles taking to the catwalk, with fitted boxer briefs and trunks seeming a pop choice. These typically have soft and stylishly embroidered waist bands advertising designer names in bright clean colours, with pink, yellow and bright blue fabrics centre stage.

Trunks are being styled to fit lower on the hip and are much shorter in the leg, with well cut pouches to offer support and control and waist bands ar designed to be seen, with designer names featuring on them.

The demands of the contemporary man are forcing underwear designers to offer greater choice of styles, fabrics and colours that are revolutionizing men’s underwear fashion on the catwalk, high street and internet. Designer men’s underwear seems as though it is not just kept for that special occasion, but is being worn as an everyday wear and research indicating that many men will regularly spend up to £20 per pair on designer brand names to be worn every day.
